The lady started interrupting my questions about where to walk with directions on where we needed to move to so she could mop. The signs for wet floor had been set up on dry floors everywhere PRIOR TO MOPPING. Did you come in just to use the restrooms?” We said no. They stopped us and asked me, “Do you see the signs? The floors are wet. We entered and wanted to use the restroom before we explored. Maybe we will come back some time when it's a little cooler, since most of the attractions are outside, and then maybe we could meet the two "star" gators. There also are different options for different ways to feed gators or have a "bird encounter." Glad we visited here. They have a small food counter, but we didn't have anything to eat there. Admission was worth it in part because we know the price goes to conservation and education. Staffers were friendly and were knowledgeable and entertaining during the scheduled "gator show." It was too bad we did not get to see the two biggest and most famous gators due to them hiding out from the heat, but I understand the need to respect their behavior and not force things on them. ![]() Saw many gators and other very interesting creatures such as big tortoises, snakes, and goats. Unfortunately I had some difficulty finding it due to construction on I-10. We hadn't planned in advance to stop here but when we saw about it on our way we were intrigued to view the wildlife here. ![]()
